Set against the backdrop of the spectacular azalea blooms that carpet the highland meadows each spring, this race offers runners an unforgettable experience through one of South China's most beautiful mountain landscapes.

The 2026 KAILAS Beijing Huairou 100 Mountain Running Race is scheduled for April 25-26, 2026, at the Yanqi Lake International Convention Center in Huairou District, Beijing. Runners will enjoy a course that integrates natural beauty with cultural heritage, passing through Yanqi Lake, Mutianyu Great Wall, Xiangshui Lake Great Wall, and Shentangyu Natural Scenic Area. The terrain includes山地 (mountainous trails),森林 (forest paths), and sections along the ancient Great Wall, providing a varied and immersive running experience. The April setting offers mild weather, ideal for trail running.

A high-difficulty trail running event in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, set on the UNESCO World Heritage Badaling Great Wall. The race combines modern athletic challenge with historical themes of border patrol, offering runners a unique experience amidst spring blooms and rugged terrain.

Experience the rugged beauty of the Taihang Mountains with four distance options, from 10km to 100km, exploring cliffs, waterfalls, and ancient trails.

Held in the 5A-rated Panshan Scenic Area, This edition offers four distance options from 12km to 70km, with an upgraded scale with 3000 participants and a total prize pool of 240,000 CNY.
