Overview
The 2026 edition features four distance categories exploring the Fairy Pool area of Jiuzhaigou. Runners will experience alpine ridges at 3,800 meters, race alongside reflections in calcified pools, and pass through thousand-year-old Tibetan villages. The courses showcase the region's famous turquoise lakes, primeval forests, and significant elevation changes.
Location
The race starts and finishes at Huamei Shengdi Shenying Square in Jiuzhaigou County, Sichuan Province. This location provides access to the Shenxianchi (Fairy Pool) trail network within the Jiuzhaigou UNESCO World Heritage area.
Getting There
- High-Speed Train: Take the high-speed rail from Chengdu East Railway Station(Chengdudong 成都东) to Huanglong Jiuzhai Railway Station (fastest route: 1 hour 39 minutes). Alternatively, transfer at Songpan Railway Station and purchase an extension ticket to Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station （黄龙九寨）
- By air: Fly to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport (JZH), then take ground transportation to Jiuzhaigou County (approx. 1.5-2 hours).
- By bus: Long-distance buses from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou County (approx. 8-10 hours).
- Local transport: From Jiuzhaigou County town to the race venue at Huamei Shengdi Shenying Square.
