What We Know
The Shangri-La Trail Race is a new yet popular high-altitude trail running event held in the mythical Shangri-La region of Yunnan Province, China. The 2025 inaugural edition attracted over 1,100 participants.
Starting at an average altitude of 3,300m, this is a "true" high-plateau race. The course passes through pristine meadows, alpine lakes, and traditional Tibetan villages.
