- High-speed rail 🚄: Arrive at Pingxiang Station (regular rail) or Pingxiang North Station (high-speed rail), then take the Wugong Mountain shuttle bus to the venue.
About the Race
Marking its 10th anniversary in 2026, the Wugong Mountain Trail Race is organized by Outdoor Agents (户外特工) across Wugong Mountain, a UNESCO Global Geopark spanning roughly 100,000 mu (about 6,700 hectares) of subtropical alpine meadow at 27°N latitude. The reserve holds over 2,000 plant species and 1,900 animal species, with 88.1% forest coverage, and the course climbs toward the range's 1,918.3m summit.

Location
The race starts and finishes at the Wugong Mountain Tourist Service Center in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province — the main gateway to the Wugong Mountain Scenic Area, which straddles the border of Pingxiang, Ji'an, and Yichun.
Eligibility & Health Requirements
- All participants must present a health certificate issued within the past year by a county-level or higher hospital, including an ECG (not required for the 13km).
- The following conditions disqualify a participant from racing: congenital or rheumatic heart disease, hypertension or cerebrovascular disease, myocarditis or other heart conditions, coronary heart disease or severe arrhythmia, poorly controlled blood sugar/diabetes, pregnancy, heavy alcohol consumption or lack of sleep the night before the race, or any other condition unsuitable for strenuous exercise.
- Age requirements: 100km and 56km — 18 to 63 (inclusive); 33km — 18 to 65 (inclusive); 13km — 16 to 65 (inclusive).
- Qualifying results: 100km and 56km entrants need at least one 50km+ (or two 40km+) trail race finish certificate from the past year; 33km entrants need at least one 20km+ trail race finish certificate from the past year.
- Runners currently serving a suspension from any national or international single-sport governing body are not eligible.
Reward
Top 6 men/women in each solo category (top 3 attend the podium ceremony and receive a trophy):
All four solo categories also award a finisher medal to every runner who completes within the cut-off. 100km/56km/33km additionally pay the finisher rewards above only to those who officially finish (not to DNFs from injury, personal reasons, or penalties).
Pair and two-day combo entries award top 3 only (goods/prizes, no trophy ceremony trophy, but podium attendance):
- 100km Pair: 1st ¥4,000 / 2nd ¥3,000 / 3rd ¥2,000 (prizes)
- 56km Pair: 1st ¥3,000 / 2nd ¥2,000 / 3rd ¥1,000 (prizes)
- Two-Day Master Combo (56km+13km): 1st ¥4,000 / 2nd ¥3,000 / 3rd ¥2,000 (prizes)
- Two-Day Challenge Combo (33km+13km): 1st ¥3,000 / 2nd ¥2,000 / 3rd ¥1,000 (prizes)
Rankings are based on gun time. Cash prizes are subject to a 20% personal income tax withheld by the organizer per Chinese law. Winners are announced on the event's official WeChat account within a week of the race, followed by a 10-working-day public comment period before payout.
Refunds & Changes
- 3-day cooling-off period: full refund available directly from the order page.
- Before August 1, 2026, 18:00: withdrawals/changes incur a 20% service fee, with the remainder refunded within 7 business days; category changes require a refund and re-registration.
- After August 1, 2026, 18:00: no refunds or changes for personal reasons.
Mandatory Gear
(A) Rules
- Equipment checks happen before the race (packet pickup/check-in), during the race (mandatory at gear-change points, spot checks elsewhere), and after the race (top 10 male/female finishers in each category, others spot-checked).
- Missing or non-compliant gear disqualifies a participant from starting or continuing.
- The organizing committee may add mandatory gear items before the race based on weather conditions.
